BOOKING YOUR COLLECTION
RecoWeb booking portal
RecoWeb is the online booking system for Recolight. It is used for new applications for service and for all those registered in the Recolight network as a collection point. RecoWeb provides you with an audit trial for all you collections.
WEEE consignment notes can be raised through the system too, and are free of charge. Battery and general WEEE collections are also booked through RecoWeb.
- The lead time for collection is up to 10 working days
- Only book your collection when your container is 90% full.
To help you avoid unnecessary charges for collections, please refer to the page for Managing Your Site
If you have forgotten your RecoWeb User Name, please email [email protected]
Check list for booking your collection
Storing waste lamps, luminaires, batteries, and electrical items
- Your container must be accessible, stored on a hard surface, and free from all packaging.
- Light fittings must have lamps and batteries removed.
- Lamp, light fittings and battery waste go in their own separate containers.
- Linear and non-linear lamps must be segregated.
- Lamps must not be over the fill line on the container.
PV Panels
For collection PV panels must be:
- Stacked neatly on a standard 1200 mm x 1200 mm pallet, max height: 1500 mm, max of 37 panels per pallet.
- Intact and complete.
- Securely strapped to the pallet in addition to shrink-wrap, as shrink-wrap alone is insufficient to prevent sliding.
Some overhang is acceptable due to panel size.
- A forklift must be available on-site due to the size and weight of the load.
Panels from solar panel farms tend to be larger. Recolight require specific details of the panels to be collected to be able to offer a quote.
