RECOWEB FOR COLLECTIONS

RecoWeb is the online booking system for Recolight. It is used for new applications for service and for all those registered in the Recolight network as a collection point. RecoWeb  provides you with an audit trial for all you collections.

WEEE consignment notes can be raised through the system too, and are free of charge. Battery and general WEEE collections are also booked through RecoWeb.

  • Lead time for collection is up to 10 working days
  • Book your collection when your container is 90% full

Check list for booking your collection

Correct storage of waste lamps, luminaires, batteries, and electrical items

  • You container must be accessible
    • Stored on a hard surface
    • Free from all packaging
  •  Light fittings must have lamps and batteries removed
    • All three types of waste go in their own separate container
  • Linear and non-linear lamps must be segregated
  • Lamps must not be over the fill line on the container

PV Panels must be

PV Panels 

For collection PV panels must be:

  • Stacked neatly on a standard 1200 mm x 1200 mm pallet, max height: 1500 mm, max of 37 panels per pallet.
  • Intact and complete.
  • Securely strapped to the pallet in addition to shrink-wrap, as shrink-wrap alone is insufficient to prevent sliding.

Some overhang is acceptable due to panel size.

  • A forklift must be available on-site due to the size and weight of the load.

Solar farm panels tend to be larger, specific details and a quote are required before collection.
