Recolight appoints new Operations Manager

Recolight, the specialist WEEE compliance scheme for the lighting industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of its new Operations Manager, Neil McLean.

Neil has worked in the European lighting industry for the past 19 years. He joins Recolight from the Global Lighting group Havells-Sylvania, where he was responsible for various International Business Units.  Previously, Neil spent thirteen years in marketing management roles for Phillips Lighting.

Commenting on his new position, Neil said: “I am delighted to be joining Recolight and look forward to sustainably growing the organisation in a dynamic and expanding market”.

“Neil’s wealth of experience working in the lighting industry makes him a valuable addition to the Recolight team,” Recolight CEO, Nigel Harvey commented, welcoming Neil to the team. “Neil will play an integral role in meeting our vision, financial goals and strategy as we develop and grow, which will be especially important as we develop our integrated lamp and luminaire compliance service. While at Havells-Sylvania he was also a non-Executive Director of Recolight, which means that he will truly be able to hit the ground running”.
