Joel Smedberg | The man who turns waste computer screens into lights

In this video short, we meet Joel Smedberg of Swedish firm Brighteco which manufactures panel luminaires from flat screens sourced from waste and recycling centres.
The fully serviceable light panels are sold on a subscription, lighting-as-a-service model and the company also takes In responsibility for upgrading if necessary, as well as the reuse or recycling of the products at the end of their life.
