Synergy Creativ launches reconditioned lighting service

Synergy Creativ

Hertfordshire-based commercial lighting firm Synergy Creativ has become the latest UK firm to launch a dedicated reconditioned lighting service.

Dubbed ‘Revitalite’, the division aims to provide cost-effective and environmentally friendly luminaires to customers in the commercial, industrial, and large-scale residential sectors.

Revitalite offers remanufactured lighting fixtures which are restored to like-new condition, says the company.

The reconditioning process involves disassembling the fixtures, repairing them where necessary, and replacing old components with LED technology, and then reassembling them with new or refurbished parts.

‘The goal of the reconditioning process is to reduce waste, reduce the need for new raw materials, extend the life of lighting fixtures, and make more sustainable, cost-effective and energy efficient lighting solutions available to customers,’ the company said in a statement.

‘We’re excited to launch our new reconditioned lighting service, which provides customers with an environmentally friendly and cost-effective alternative to buying new lighting fixtures,’ Synergy Creativ chief operating officer Mike Stay told the Circular Lighting Report. ‘We believe retrofitting is our responsibility to the planet.’

The retrofit projects are handled by an in-house technical team and backed by a five warranty.

‘The use of reconditioned lighting fixtures has many benefits, including cost savings, reduced waste, improved energy efficiency, reduced resource consumption, and a smaller carbon footprint.

‘Additionally, reconditioned lighting fixtures are updated with the latest energy-efficient components, which results in lower energy costs and a smaller carbon footprint.’

Revitalite also offers a number of additional control options such as DALI dimming, daylight dimming and absence and presence detection.

‘Reconditioned lighting is the future of sustainable lighting solutions,’ says Stay. ‘We’re committed to providing high-quality products that meet the needs of our customers and help to reduce the environmental impact of lighting.’
